Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Skins for Minecraft: Skinloom (the "App") or visit svitlolabs.com. The App is provided by Svitlo Labs LLC, the App's developer and data controller.
Information we process
Content stored on your device
The content you create in the App is stored locally on your device. Skinloom does not upload it to systems we operate, to Firebase, or to advertising services. It may be included in device backups you configure, and it may be lost if you delete the App, reinstall it, or lose the device.
Saving to Photos
Images you choose to save to Photos remain under your control on your device and in any device backup or cloud-photo service you use. The App requests add-only Photos access when you choose Save to Photos and does not read your photo library.
Anonymous SDK activation
The free App activates Adapty in the background using an anonymous Adapty profile ID. Names and personal answers are not sent to Adapty. The App does not request paywalls or make purchases; access to content does not depend on the SDK or a network connection. Adapty processes technical information described in its linked privacy policy. Its activation is separate from gameplay and locally stored content.
Support and reports
If you choose to contact support or report content, your mail app opens a message that you review before sending. We receive your email address and anything you include, which may include the App version, iOS version, device model, a report reason, screenshots, or other details. Do not include confidential or sensitive information unless it is necessary for us to resolve the issue.
Website request data
Cloudflare hosts this website and may process ordinary network and request information such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested path, request time, response status, and security events. We use this information for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. The website does not set advertising cookies or run product analytics.
Analytics and diagnostics
Skinloom uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used. Firebase Analytics processes pseudonymous app-instance identifiers (a Firebase Installation ID and an App Instance ID), screen views and in-app events, app and operating-system versions, device model, language, and approximate region derived from IP address. We do not send names, email addresses, or the content you create in the App as analytics events, and we do not use advertising identifiers or request App Tracking Transparency permission.
Firebase Crashlytics automatically processes crash reports, stack traces, relevant application state, app and operating-system versions, basic device diagnostics, a Crashlytics installation UUID, and a Firebase Installation ID. Skinloom's custom diagnostic payload is limited to a privacy-safe error type and stack trace; the content you create in the App and free text are not attached to crash reports.
How we use information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the free App and maintain its reliability;
- understand which features are used so that we can improve the App;
- measure App reliability through privacy-safe crash diagnostics;
- detect unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity;
- secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the App and website;
- respond to support, privacy, and legal requests; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Use.
Service providers
We use the following providers to operate Skinloom:
- Apple for App Store distribution;
- Adapty for anonymous SDK activation; no purchase or paywall features;
- Google Firebase for privacy-safe crash diagnostics and product analytics;
- Cloudflare for website hosting, content delivery, and security;
These providers process information under their own privacy terms and our service arrangements. Providers that receive user data are contractually required to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by Apple's guidelines, and to use the information only to provide services to us.
Sharing and disclosure
We share information with the providers listed above only as needed to operate the App. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it for cross-app behavioral advertising.
When you choose to share or export content to another app or service, that destination processes the content under its own terms and privacy policy. Skinloom cannot control what happens after you choose to copy, save, or hand off content.
Retention
- Content stored on your device remains there until you use Delete local data, delete the App, or the operating system removes it.
- Firebase Crashlytics crash reports are retained for up to 90 days under the configured Firebase retention policy.
- Firebase Analytics event data is retained for up to 14 months; aggregated reports may be kept longer.
- When a Firebase Installation ID is deleted, Firebase begins removing data associated with it. Removal from live and backup systems may take up to 180 days.
- Support messages and related records are kept for up to 24 months, or longer where needed to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or meet a legal obligation.
- Legal and provider records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the relevant purpose or as required by Apple, applicable law, accounting rules, or the provider's retention rules.
Deleting your data
In the App, open Settings → Delete local data, review what will be removed, and confirm. Skinloom removes its local content, settings, and locally stored project and preference data. Records already held by Apple, Adapty, Firebase, or Support are not automatically deleted; see below for how to request that.
Content you already saved to Photos or sent to another app must be deleted from those destinations separately.
To request access, correction, deletion, or de-identification of information we control, email support@svitlolabs.com. Never send a password, full payment-card number, or raw purchase receipt. We respond within 30 days or the shorter or longer period required by applicable law. We will delete or de-identify information we control and instruct relevant providers where reasonably possible, subject to records we must retain for legal, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes. Apple-controlled information and billing choices must be handled through Apple.
Permissions and your choices
- Photos add-only access: requested only when you choose Save to Photos.
- Tracking: Skinloom does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use advertising identifiers.
- Other device access: Skinloom does not request camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, notification, or advertising-tracking permission.
Legal bases and your privacy rights
Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you by providing the free App, based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the service and preventing abuse, with your consent for optional device permissions and any processing that legally requires consent, and to comply with legal obligations.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise a right; because Skinloom does not require an account, we may need details about a support request or SDK record to locate relevant records.
International transfers
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. Privacy protections may differ between jurisdictions.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including data minimization, privacy-safe crash diagnostics, and local-only storage for the content you create. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The App is intended for people who are at least 13 years old and is not directed to younger children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. A higher minimum age may apply in your country. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
